Angela is a Chartered Psychologist who trained at the Tavistock Clinic in London. She has a wealth of experience working with mental health issues. She has succesfully treated many people with complex emotional and Psychological difficulties such as anxiety and depression, compulsive and addictive behavior, eating disorders and patients and carers of terminal illness.

Career

With over 15 years of experience, Angela has worked privately as well as working for the NHS for over 10 years. She has been appointed Clinical Supervisor with the British Psychological Society and supervises doctoral trainees within the NHS and also works as an external examiner for the Psych D Psychology Doctorates.

Publications / Research

Angela’s doctoral research investigated working with the social construction of ‘Identity and Self in Counselling’ with a specific focus on the experience of mixed-race clients in therapy. www.pure.roehampton.ac.uk
